Story
The London Marathon weekend will be exactly one year after the major earthquake that hit Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the world, taking the lives of over 9000 people and injuring more than 23000. I was trekking in Nepal during the earthquake and saw first hand the devastation that was caused and the trauma experienced by the Nepalese people. Being in Nepal at that time has given me a heart for helping those in Nepal who were much less fortunate than I was.
The money I raise for Concern Worldwide will go directly to the work they are doing in Nepal and where they will stay as long as it takes to help communities rebuild their lives and livelihoods. With all that has been going on in the news over this past year, the extent to which Nepal is still suffering as a country has often gone unnoticed. Please help this beautiful country which I have grow to love so much by supporting the amazing work of Concern Worldwide.
