Nutshell - I'm throwing myself out a plane (firmly attached to a parachute and instructor!) to raise money for the girls I stayed with in Sri Lanka at Sparkes Home.All the money you donate goes to the girls (I am paying for the jump). Gift Aid doesn't cost you anything. Just Giving is secure. Your details are never used for anything else.

SPARKES HOME for girls...

During my 6 months travelling I spent 2 weeks at Sparkes Home for girls in Sri Lanka! There are 40 girls ranging all the way through from 6-18 years old that are all hardworking, caring, and most importantly happy. The home is their family!

The girls are either victims of the 2004 tsunami, victims of the recent civil war or from families who are so poor they cannot afford to keep their own children. Yet amazingly these girls are almost always smiling, and that is a truely touching thing to see!

What amazes me is it only costs £1 a day to support each child! £1 a day to feed, bath, clothe, and house a child.

 

The SKYDIVE...

I miss the girls and wanted to do something to fundraise some money for them. Skydiving is on my bucket list. So I figured I'd combine the two!

I will be paying for the jump myself, so every penny you donate goes straight to the girls!
