Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running a pretty muddy 5k on 31st May, and hosting a coffee morning on May 2nd.
Since starting this fundraising page I have now also booked a 10k on July 18th, and I have organised a charity spinathon at my local gym Everyone Active at Westcroft in Carshalton on Saturday August 15th.
This will be an 8 hour cycle challenge which I will be completing with my friend Gemma.
Cancer is always something I have known about, seen in films or heard other people talk about, but never has it touched my life personally until very recently.
On 26th Feburary my beautiful friend Paula lost her battle to cervical cancer. Paula left behind her little 3 year old daughter Grace, her rock of a husband Daragh, her sister/best friend Stephanie along with a family that love her dearly and lots of very close friends whom of which are heartbroken that she is gone.
I realise that I cannot bring Paula back, nor can I ease any pain that anyone is feeling. However I can complete these challenges and with your help raise money to help support other families who use Our Lady's Hospice for their loved ones.
The care that Paula recieved at the hospice was first class, and Paula wanted money to be raised and donated to this cause.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, any donation is greatly appreciated.
Stay healthy and happy always x
