Story
On Saturday the 2nd of July 2016, The States of Jersey Police are entering four teams into the SnowdoniaSeven Challenge, for the first time in the event's history.
The Snowdonia Seven Challenge is undoubtedly the most enjoyable (and Challenging ) event in Police sporting calendar.
It has been held annually since 1974 and still embodies the original ethos of developing 'Fitness, Teamwork and Endurance'.
To complete the challenge, teams of four must walk/run/crawl 22 miles over 7 peaks with a total ascent of almost 8000, in under 10 hours whilst carrying specified survival kit.
Please see the link below for more information about the challenge including the route and the rules.
The teams are as follows:
Mixed Event, Pat Forde, Lee Turner, Louise Jackson, Simone Sains
Mixed Event, Phil Downes, Celio Abreu, Lidia Szejko, Barbara Czaja
Ladies Team, Alex Le Chevalier, Alison Fossey, Sarah Henderson, Sara Garwood.
Vets, Steve Lynch, Dave Hill, Dave Webster, Rob Moy.
Please support our teams on their first ventures into Snowdon.
