Story
Hi, I'm Sean and married with 3 children. I had a motorcycle accident in July 2011 that changed my life forever, fortunately I survived serious internal injuries that had me on a life support machine for 7 weeks and in hospital at James Cook Spinal Cord Injuries Centre in Middlesbrough for 6 months. I was left paraplegic and facing an uncertain future living in a wheelchair.
Fortunately the spinal cord injuries charity Back Up Trust helps people facing life in a wheelchair overcome and transform their lives. This year is the charity's 30th anniversary so I have decided to participate in the Back Up Snowdon Push this July 2016 (climbing Snowdon in a wheelchair). To raise as much money as possible to enable Back Up to continue with its fantastic work.
This team consists of myself, SCI centre colleagues, friends and support from Stewarts Law.
