Our tri tale started when Lucia thought entry to the Bournemouth Triathlon would be the perfect birthday present for Emma. Fortunately, she couldn't get away without signing herself up too.

So here we are, after many early mornings and late nights filled with training. Neither of us with a clue in the world about what we're doing, about to do our first tri!

We're racing for a very special local charity, the Lewis Manning Hospice. Any donations and equally any cheers by the side of the road would mean the absolute world.
