I will be cycling from Wigan to Blackpool, with a bunch of other good people, on Friday 29th April 2016 after deciding THIS really is the year for me to participate in this annual journey more than ever!

Since my hubby, Emmerson, left the wonderful Wigan Athletic FC last year and went to the seaside (Blackpool FC!) I thought this is a better time than any to participate! The match is the next day!

I've been equipped with all the gear, a decent bike (which I'm still adjusting to), I just need a little more practice and I'll be ready to go! Having not ridden a bike for a good distance since I was in my teens, please consider this in your generosity, it's tough! I'm really not quite sure how I'll get on but I'm prepared to face the reality of it!

I'm honoured to be an ambassador, along with Emmerson, for the charity and Joseph will always hold a special place in our hearts (thanks to a little FA Cup Final at Wembley in 2013!). He's a fighter with amazing spirit, qualities which I am hoping to adopt for this ride!
