Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday 15th May 2015 Dave & I sadly lost our little girl, Tess. Therefore I am taking part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride in her memory raising money for Pet Savers Charity.

Pet Savers ultimate aim is to improve the health of the nation's pets by relieving the distress and pain caused by diseases. We can help fund clinical research studies to help improve the diagnosis and treatment so that our pets can have longer healthier lives. No experimental animals are used in PetSavers studies.

Three weeks ago today Tess became unwell. A few days later she was diagnosed with Gallbladder Mucocele. Tess had surgery at Dick White Referrals and returned home from the specialist after a week. Unfortunately at a check up last Friday the specialist found a leakage of septic fluid into her abdomen. She was taken in for an emergency operation but sadly the fluid had spread too far so we had to say our goodbyes.

Dave and I spoke with Tess' vet, Bruce from Meopham Veterinary Hospital. Bruce cared for her with such compassion for many years. He highly recommended Petsavers Charity as one who take pride in their clinical research and one which most relates to Tess' illness.

We are taking great comfort that she is now with Dave's lovely Grandad, looking down on us and no doubt having endless amount of cuddles.

We will miss her pretty face, calm nature and the amount of unconditional love the three of us shared.

Daddy's little Princess, Sweet dreams xxxx
