Police officers place themselves in danger everyday to keep the areas we live in safe and protect the public from harm, risking their lives for complete strangers. 
Sadly Police Officers have been targeted just because of the uniform they wear and killed in the line of duty, leaving behind families and children.

Myself and many other officer’s from across the country will be running the New York marathon in November to support the PC Nicola Hughes memorial fund in order to support all families, not just police families bereaved though homicide.

We can’t stop the meaningless killings but we can stop the feeling of meaningless lives it leaves behind
