We raise needed funds to support the work of the NMH Holles St

Story

My sister Graces story. . .

At 28 weeks pregnant, my tiny but perfect daughter arrived on the 11th June 2010 weighing just 2lb 9oz!!!!

As you can imagine it was a worrying time, we faced many ups and downs including septicemia and VRE(viral infection of bowel) but Amber is a little fighter and thrived with the help of the amazing staff on Unit 8 Neonatal Intensive Care and Special Care Nursery. After 7weeks of their care and weighing a mere 5lb, Amber was discharged.

The staff are phenomenal taking on their role each day to help look after the premature and sick babies. They also support the families of those little ones and many times they encouraged, supported or comforted me through a tough day during Ambers time there. Even now as I see my strong healthy girl I am so grateful to NMH for all they do and I'm reminded how lucky we are to have her.

To raise the €10,000 for Holles Street, National Maternity Hospital would be a small gesture of Thanks for the work they do for the little fighters, the angels and their families.
