As a volunteer my role in the Centre is to assist the local carers with the children’s daily routines. A large part of the day I will be interacting and playing with the children, providing them with fun and stimulating experiences but also promoting their learning and development. On a weekly basis, I will have the opportunity to organise parties and other activities such as arts, crafts, sports, music or take the children out for excursions. In addition, I will be collaborating with the carers when needed; assisting at mealtimes, dressing, teeth brushing, etc. For many years my Aunt Laura supported the foundation as did my father and I now wish to continue to do so myself.
