Humanitarian journey to one of the poorest suburbs of Nakuru, Kenya , 28 May 2017

Story

For the fifth year, Derby County Community Trust with African Adventures, are making the humanitarian journey to one of the poorest suburbs of Nakuru, Kenya to help three schools in need of support and 100’s of children that would love nothing more than your time and attention, and a chance of a decent education.

On Saturday 28th May 2016, I will be setting off got my third trip and my Dad, Steve, will be setting off on his fifth to:

  • Assist with teaching
  • Help to develop teaching styles and curriculum
  • Help with the feeding programme at the school
  • Construct new classrooms
  • And much, much more

I have to raise money which goes towards funding the trip and to the schools in Kenya. Also, a small percentage of the money raised goes towards Derby County Community Trust which will help sustain their Disability Program which delivers tailored, inclusive sessions throughout Derbyshire for children and adults with physical and mental disabilities.

Thank you for visiting our page and if you can donate any money we will both be very grateful no matter how big and small.
