Hi my name is Luke Mackinlay and I will be walking 700 miles from John O' Groats at the most northern part of Scotland back to my hometown of Bournemouth. 

This is a long journey and will take me over 28 days, It's going to be a real challenge and a life changing experience. I am doing this challenge alone so prayers and support from everyone are much appreciated. 

I have somewhat planned my journey so that I will be able to stop off in larger towns every 3-4 days to restock on food. But there will be times where I am away from everything. I have a journey plan which I have tried to make as simple as possible although in the UK there are certain roads you cannot walk on so I have to take much more rural routes on occasions. 

I am doing all of this crazy walking to raise money for LIV village, Liv village provides residential care for orphans in South Africa. It's an amazing organisation and they've recently just bought more land to build villages on so the financial support at this time is very needed. Just think, your donation and support could be paying to put a roof over the heads of vulnerable children.
