My name is Lydia Fleming and in September 2014 for 12 months I will be going to Africa, in a Village called Ogugu, in Kogi State-Nigeria, through Mission Africa. I will be working with the Advance Ogugu Programme, and the Circle of Hope Child Sponsorship Scheme. I will have to take on roles such as:

–       Weekly bible studies with COH children in schools


–        Organising Saturday programs for children and youth (Songs, Quiz,memory verse, bible talks, games)


–        Administration of COH (Attendance, performance, paying fees, finances)


–        Assessment of children awaiting sponsorship


–        Ensuring COH children receive correct medical attention


–        Organising quarterly sharing of food with the COH children 


–      Reaching out to local youths through sport and games at the centre
