We carry out practical research to improve quality of life after paralysis

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am Lydia Louw (10) and in December 2015 I will climb Kilimanjaro to raise money for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research.  I love the outdoors and over the last few years I have done many adventures with my family.  What I have realised is how easily you take your own mobility for granted.  At my Mommy's workplace there are many patients that will never be able to walk or run.  The staff at Stoke Mandeville work hard to improve the patients' quality of life.  Your donations will go towards extra equipment or for further spinal injury research that will benefit people around the world.

So time to get busy training.  Over the next three months I will prepare, with the leadership of She-Climbs to summit Kilimanjaro.

It all starts with the first step.
