After finishing my studies in Comparative and International Education in Oxford, it seemed fitting to take a break from teaching in the UK and head overseas! I'll be working in Uganda with an organisation called Red Earth Education.

With a focus on sustainability, Red Earth seeks to encourage rural teachers in their work, supporting them in their professional development and helping them to improve education for their pupils.

I will be aiming to raise £2000 for Red Earth before I go in the autumn. To make a start, it would be wonderful if you could join me for an afternoon tea in my Oxford garden before I leave for the red earth of Uganda, and any donations would be very greatly appreciated!
