Story
Welcome to Signet Planning’s Just Giving page for our Ian Rowe Three Peaks Challenge on 14 April 2012.
As many will know our Director and friend, Ian Rowe, lost his battle against brain cancer in April last year and as a tribute to Ian, a Signet Planning Team is preparing to walk the Three Yorkshire Peaks. This is a demanding but rewarding walk which takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent (2,276 ft), Whernside (2,415 ft) and Ingleborough (2,372 ft) all in one circular route. The walk is 25 miles long and takes in over 5,000 ft of climbing.
We are raising money for the PPR Foundation (www.thepprfoundation.com) which was specifically formed by people whose lives have been affected by the death of their partner from a brain tumour. They are aiming to raise £1 million by 2015. Ian’s wife, Rosie, is now involved in the charity as well as helping us on the 14 April.
We would be very grateful for your support as it is a cause which is particularly relevant to Ian, so Signet want to do something as a tribute to him as well as helping the cause. As Ian would have put it “it’s just like plaiting fog”.
Thanks for your support.
