Lyons Davidson Solicitors takes on Wales’ 24 hour track relay challenge!
A team from the Cardiff and Bristol Offices of Lyons Davidson are putting their endurance to the test by taking part in the ultimate track cycle challenge for charity.
Lyons Davidson have signed up to take part in the Cyclone
24 challenge, which is organised annually by leading Welsh homelessness charity, The Wallich and branding specialists, Stills. A challenge of strength, determination and team spirit, Cyclone 24 sees participants take on 24 hours of relay cycling around the Wales National Velodrome, in a bid to record the furthest distance travelled.
The team hopes to raise over £1200 to support The Wallich, a charity which provides support to the most excluded and marginalised people
in society; those with no home, experiencing extreme poverty and suffering poor mental and physical health.
Rebecca Morgan (Team Captain) said:“We decided to take part in this challenge for The Wallich because of the wonderful work they do. The effect of their work is so evident and deserves the support and publicity that Cyclone 24 brings. It will be a tough challenge but it’s great to
know that I will be raising funds to improve the lives of the 5000 plus people The Wallich supports every year.”
Zoe Westerman, Corporate Relationship Manager for The Wallich said: “We’re incredibly proud of our Cyclone 24 participants. Cycling is such a fantastic sport to take part in. Not only is it a great form of exercise but also very sociable too, a great way of networking.
The money being raised by Lyons Davidson’s team will go towards supporting vulnerable people across Wales, giving them the accommodation and support to live safer, happier, more independent lives.”
