"Team M2M cycle the 9 Counties"

Due to the resounding success of our Mizen to Malin charity cycle in June 2015 the team have grasped a new challenge for 2016.

On the 23rd of June Team M2M will leave Belfast on a 500 mile cycle extravaganza over 4 days through the 9 Counties of Ulster before returning and finishing in Belfast.

This year we will continue our association with the Northern Ireland Hospice as we look to add to the amazing achievements of last year.

The itinerary is as follows:

Day 1, Belfast - Ballyliffin
Leaving Belfast at about 730am we'll head up the coast road through Larne, Cushendall and then along the North Coast all the way to Magilligan where we'll pick up the ferry to Greencastle before a final 20 miles to our overnight stop in Ballyliffin
127 miles, 5784 ft climbing

Day 2, Ballyliffin - Rossnowlagh
A tough morning start with 18 miles to Bundoran but 1584 ft of climbing compliments of Mamore Gap, one of Ireland's steepest climbs with gradients approaching 30%. There'll be time to recover on the Bundoran - Rathmullan ferry before a 90 mile loop through Donegal, taking in the Glenveagh National Park, Dungloe & Donegal Town before our hotel in Rossknowlagh
109 miles, 7185 ft climbing

Day 3, Rossknowlagh - Castleblayney
A more straight forward day looping around the West of Lough Erne and skirting the border towns of Cavan & Monaghan prior to getting to Castleblayney.
132 miles, 6226 ft climbing

Day 4, Castleblayney - Belfast
Some spectacular scenario should divert attention from the aching legs on our final day with a loop through the Ring of Gullion before skirting the Mournes on the coast road to Strangford where we'll take the ferry to Portaferry. After this its a quick (??) run up the Ards peninsula prior to cutting in for the final run from Donaghadee to Belfast where friends, family & pints will await
132 miles, 5320 ft climbing

TOTAL DISTANCE - 500 miles
TOTAL CLIMBING - 24,515 ft climbing
