I lost my father in 2014 and my mother became a widow at he age of 86.My father provided all her care when he was alive so it has been difficult for my mother to manage on a day to day basis without that support.

Independent age provide useful information guides on how my mother can receive the support she is entitled to.This has been invaluable to her and her close family in trying to maintain that level of care she was receiving prior to my fathers death.

I would like to take the opportunity to participate in this years London Marathon to promote the good work that Independent Age do.

Training is well on the way and will intensify now 2016 has arrived.
