This year the committee are extremely proud to announce that we have decided to support CHICs Children’s Cancer Support Group.

This charity was set up by a small group of parent who were effected by their children’s experiences of this life threatening disease. They realised they were not alone in their desire to share their experiences, problems and emotions with other parents in similar situations.

The groups seeks to offer support, advice and help to not only the patients undergoing the treatment but their families too. The charity was founded in 1986 and supports over 650 families in 6 groups.

They organise events such as parties, treats, holidays and outings to bring a sense of normality to each and every member sharing this difficult experience.
