Story

Hi and thankyou for visiting my Just Giving page.On Saturday 3rd September 2016  me and 5 friends will be cycling the 110 miles from Clitheroe to Scarbrough and on Sept 4th we will be cycling back. We are hoping to raise £1per mile, but obvoiusly if we can raise more that would be fantastic. The ride is in aid of two charities, TNnME and Trigeminal Neuralgia UK, both are very worthy causes.                       Trigeminal Neuralgia is believed to be one of the rarest and most painful conditions in the medical world, so rare that only 27 people in the uk are diagnosed each year. As a result there is very little government funding and any research to find a cure is dependant on donations. It is a condition which is life changing not only for the sufferer but also for their families. I know this as my wife was struck by Trigeminal Neuralgia in 2010 and the affect it has had on our all way of life drives me to raise money for these very worthy charities .If any money that we can raise goes towards research that can save even one family experiencing what we have experienced over the last 6 years, we will consider this a major success. Thankyou for your generosity and I hope you will share this with your friends and lets hope we can make a difference.
