Northern Lights is aimed at young people aged 16+ furthest from the job market and whose behavior becomes more risky as more 'highs' are sought to break the spiral of boredom in which many are caught.  While initially the project will provide positive activity to divert individuals and groups from risky behavior, the main focus is to help them to become opportunity ready. Through identifying and building on personal assets, developing a 'can do' attitude, participants will recognise they have something to contribute and to sustain them in positive activity and employment.  

This can do attitude will be put to the test when 16 young people will sail with the Ocean Youth Trust around the West Coast of Scotland in October!
