Welcome to our fundraising page for Mace’s 25th anniversary baton – The Adventurer.
We are celebrating our 25th anniversary!
To mark this huge milestone and as one of the three companies making up the consortium that delivered the London 2012 Olympics, we have launched the Mace baton – The Adventurer - which echoes the London 2012 Olympic Torch which was carried around the UK for 70 days in the lead up to the Games.
As this legacy was a big part of the Olympics, we too want to make sure that our own particular relay gives something back, and so as well as travelling the world to promote what Mace has achieved over the last 25 years, the adventurer will also be helping us to raise £200,000 for the Mace Foundation.
We want to pass the adventurer, and in doing so share the spirit of our celebrations, to as many countries, projects, offices and locations as possible. In fact our aim is for the adventurer to visit 25 countries, 250 projects and to be handled by at least 2,500 people in 2015.
We need your support to help us raise our target of £200,000 so please donate generously.
The Mace Foundation is a charity that works to enhance and increase the support Mace offers to disadvantaged people and communities. It does this through four specific campaigns: education and employment; communities; health and wellbeing; and culture, heritage and sport.
