Hello and Thank you for taking the time to visit my fund raising page.

I trained hard since the start of this year but this trek was nearly compromised when I twisted my ankle running after a  bus in May. However it's an accident near Gatwick in a taxi returning from Las Vegas Licensing Show that could have really kiboshed this whole trip to Peru, let alone a 7days trek through the Andes mountains and the jungle!

What happened since, you will ask??!!

Having kind of gotten over what the locals call 'Soroche' (the altitude sickness) I've been walking through the cobbled street of Cusco and my ankle is behaving. My back is also quasi pain less .... Sooooo why not do it!!

The Light Fund has helped last year only, charitable causes and projects as varied as children with cancer, cystic fibrosis, kids hospices, dogs trained in medical diagnosis - to name a few!
