Fundraising for North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know my beautiful and brave big sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in September at the age of 39. We have no family history of cancer so this came as quite a shock! Luckily it seems they caught it early and after an operation she is now having chemo but will hopefully make a full recovery.
I think she is so brave and wanted to show my support for her and the wonderful people who have looked after her so well so have decided the least I can do is try to raise some money for the breast care unit at North Tees who are fundraising for a Faxitron machine and what better way to do this than to cut my pride and joy off......my long blonde hair. I will then be sending my hair to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer. I will be doing this between Christmas and New Year so please if you can spare a couple of pounds, even just having one less drink this Christmastime we could help other sisters, mums, aunties fight cancer sooner.
