Back in 2011 I first took up this challenge, to see if I could possibly do it. I returned in 2013 to see whether the first time was just a fluke. I then returned a third time to see how fast I could do it. Each time I enjoyed the experience of raising lots of money for the Brathay Trust, even though the event is brutally tough, both mentally and physically.
It is now 2016 and I''m back again for a crazy 4th time! Why you may ask? I'm still asking it myself! I think it is because I love helping Brathay and pushing my body to the limits with my hobby of marathon running. If I manage it a 4th time, I believe I'll be one of only 4 people to accomplish this feat and I think this is what has driven me to return.
Once again I'm asking you to please donate to help me raise money, so Brathay can change the lives of as many vulnerable young people as possible in our society so they reach their potential and we can all live together in a better environment.
All donations however great or small will be much appreciated. They will make all the pain during the event feel worthwhile. They will also make a big impact on the lives of the many young people that Brathay will be able to touch due to your help.
