Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising funds to help the Stockport Women's Centre.  Their staff and volunteers help women like me who have been in an abusive relationship to get back their confidence and self-esteem.  One of the effects of the abuse I have been living with is that I am agoraphobic and have not been anywhere on my own for 9 years. To raise much-needed funds I am going to walk from my home to Morrison's Supermarket on my own

I plan to raise £300 to help the Centre continue with its work.  I don't know where I would be without them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Women's Centre and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
