We were looking for a way to mark Fiona's birthday and remember. 

Fiona gave me 2 basic instructions. 1. Be Happy and 2. Remember me.  

On Saturday 21st June, Robyn, Isaac and I will be doing a sponsored walk from our house, through the woods, across Merrow Common and on to Fiona's tree in Clandon Woods and then back to our house. I think this is an appropriate approach to remember and be Happy that Fiona would be pleased with.

Our friends are welcome to join us on the March, sponsor us or even gather your own sponsorship if you so choose.

The idea started from Robyn discussing with Kelly about doing a fun run to raise money, this then changed into doing Race for Life, then Robyn decided she wanted to do her own Race for Life in the woods beside our house. The woods beside our house are not that big, so I just changed the final destination. Its hard to know how far it is and how long it will take, but i think it is between 6-7km there and back.

We also choose the charity to be Friends of the Beacon as those were the individual nurses who came to our house to help care for Fiona.
