As part of our 'Big Welcome' church open day, we will be abseiling from the top of the tower of St. Michael & All Angels, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton in England.
We are being supported in this venture by Wolf Mountain climbing centre in Wolverhampton.Proceeds from this event will be shared between the work of the church, which has formed part of the community of Tettenhall for over 1000 years, and Streetlight Trust (Registered charity number 1117789, http://www.streetlight-trust.org.uk/), working to support work with streetchildren in Manila, the Philippines.
