Story

Marcus has autism and can sometimes find the world around him to be a confusing and challenging place. He has been riding with Quest for a few months now. Quest have given him the opportunity to ride their amazingly gentle horses in a safe environment. When he is on the back of a horse (especially his favourite, Bassett) he is so focused and happy. I was amazed at the transformation in him - when I turned up mid way through his second lesson he noticed me and said in a clear voice "Hi Mum" without anyone prompting him. Might not sound like much but he rarely acknowledges others (even his family!), let alone greet them. Riding can be such great therapy.

Quest rely on donations and fundraising to meet their running costs.  By sponsoring Marcus for his 2 mile ride, supported by lovely volunteers walking by his side, it will enable them to continue their great work.
