The Urdd (the 'Welsh League of Hope') is a remarkable charity that offers the young people of Wales opportunities to experience education and friendship in the common bond of the Welsh language. Set up in 1922, it has run summer camps at LLangranog on the Cardigan coast since the 1930's. My mother attended one of these as a teenager and it stayed with her as a memorable experience until her death in July 2015. She loved children and loved Wales. I hope you can help me remember Mum by contributing a little to the work of the Urdd. You can find out more of its work on its website.
