This tea party is in memory of Sandra who will always be forever in our hearts.

St Michaels Hospice has become so important to me, as they were looking after a very special and brave lady, who has been part of my life for nearly 20 years.  That amazing lady is Sandra, my mum in law. 

For 5 weeks, we as a family have been helped through a very difficult and emotional time by the angels and saints at St Michaels Hospice. These angels and saints are the staff and volunteers at the hospice who have been wonderful, kind, compassionate and caring, not only to Sandra but to us as a family too.  

Sandra's spirit and fight over the past 5 years, battling cancer has been truly amazing and she never gave up - Sandra always had a positive attitude, she was always thankful for every day that she was given and did her best to not let this soul destroying illness affect her life. The staff and volunteers grew to love Sandra whilst she was with them and they told us that they have never seen a lady fight as much as she did.

St Michael's is a registered charity and all its services are provided completely free of charge.  In order to do this, they need to raise £2.4 million a year from fundraising, donations, retail and lottery to continue supporting patients and their families affected by life limiting illnesses. They receieve just 22% funding from the Government (North Hampshire CCG)
