MCL is closely associated with the global development
charity, Concern Worldwide  ( see www.concern.net). 

Concern’s main focus is on hunger relief, and specifically
it aims to reach the poorest people in the world’s poorest countries, as
measured on the global development index. It operates in some extremely
challenging environments,  like South Sudan,  North Korea,  and
20 other countries where people suffer from malnutrition,  poor health and
sanitation, poor education and so on.

As shipping is a global business, we feel our role In
facilitating trade is highly compatible with the aims of Concern Worldwide.

Every year, MCL sponsors teams which enter into the London
Triathlon, to raise funds for Concern projects.
