We explore ways that dogs can help people to overcome specific challenges

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June I will be heading off to the mountains with two of my colleagues, Robin Houghton and Giles Humphreys-Evans, and attempting something called the RAID Pyrenean which involves a 720km cycle in 100hrs with 11,000m of climbing (Everest is c. 8000m). The picture gives you an idea and this link shows you the scale of the challenge in full. http://www.marmot-tours.co.uk/Road-Cycling-Holidays/raid-pyrenean.html

We are hoping to raise some money for Dogs for the Disabled, a great charity that we have just adopted as Partnership’s staff charity.  You will see from the summary on this page, or if you visit their website, the great work they do for people old and young, with a variety of disabilities.

We are all picking up our own costs so every penny goes straight to the charity.  So, think of all the pain we will be going through on the climbs and dig deep!  If we raise enough I might even post some pictures of the team in lycra!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
