I will be cycling 100km around London at midnight on June 4/5 in aid of Amref. I'm hoping to raise at least £250.
To get an idea of where my blood, sweat & tears and your hard earned cash will go:
- £15 could fund an AMREF water stall to supply clean drinking water to 600 people.
- OR could vaccinate 20 children against killer diseases such as TB and typhoid.
- £20 could provide a clean toilet for 6-8 people in Kibera, an urban slum of Nairobi, Kenya.
- £35 could help vaccinate 40 children against polio.
- £40 could buy a bicycle for a Health Worker, allowing them to reach the most remote communities with essential health care.
- £70 can mean the difference between access to critical care or none.
- £180 could pay for drip irrigation for two family's fields in a drought prone area.
