In the UK in 2012 the BBC reported that more British servicemen and veterans took their own lives than died fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23259865). Between 2011 and 2013 a total of 754 serving UK military personnel Were treated for PTSD.

No Matter the number or the age of those serving or veterans it is important that they feel they can get help when they need it, they often feel isolated, lonely or believing that it is a sign of weakness to reach out and ask for help or there is no one who can help.
