Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On September 10th I will be taking part in The Thames Path Challenge 100km 2016. I will be walking 100km from Putney Bridge in London to Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire along the Thames Path National Trail.

I am doing this to raise money for the Royal Life Saving Society, who are the Drowning Prevention Charity, in memory of my son Michael, who sadly drowned on 7th August 2015.

Over 400 people a year drown in the UK, and the RLSS can help reduce that number through their training and education programmes.

They were incredibly helpful to us after Michael died, and in our successful campaign to name Michael's Bridge.

This is my way to give back and say thank you. I ask anyone who can, to donate, no matter how small, to a very worthwhile charity.

Thank you

Mark
