Story

Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page.

A merry band of Cordwainers are participating in The Great River Race on Saturday 3rd September 2016 in support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Thanks to the generous backing of
four Cordwainer families, we are entering four boats in this river marathon, which runs from London Docklands up to Ham in Surrey, some 21.6 miles!

Each boat will have six crew members: four rowers, one passenger and one cox, all of whom will have 'enjoyed' many hours of practice. We are hoping for good weather, a strong tail wind and loads of support from friends and family on the day.
