Myself  , CSgt Mark Sumner and WO1 ( RSM ) George Long will be taking part in the Mercian Challenge. 

The Mercian challenge  is a 100 mile ultra marathon with a cut off time of 42 hours .  The route starts in Chepstow and moves north along the Offas dyke pathway across  some very demanding and challenging terrain finishing in Montgomery ,  tackling the black mountains along the way . 

We as a pair have to be self sufficent carrying all our food and equipment for the whole race .

The money raised will go to the Mercian benevolent fund to help serving and ex serving Mercian soldiers .

Any donations no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated .
