Mary sadly recently lost her four-year courageous battle against cancer. She was positive throughout and determined to make the most of everyday. She continued to think of others rather than being sorry for herself and in so doing inspired those who were also suffering serious health problems.

For the last two weeks of her life Mary was very well looked after at home by her loving family, supported by staff from the Countess Mountbatten Hospice as well as by NHS Community Nurses and Palliative Support Workers. To recognise this support we wish to raise funds for the Hospice that relies heavily on voluntary contributions in order to help cancer sufferers in the Southampton region.
