In shaa Allah through your generosity, we aim to raise about 10,000 pounds to help build our Aberdeen mosque, Masjid Alhikmah & Community Centre (http://www.masjidalhikmah.org.uk).

It will be the first purpose built masjid in Aberdeen, providing facilities such as a dedicated women’s section,  state of the art wudhu units, a funeral preparation facility (a maghsal) etc.

We hope and  pray that we can start using our very own purpose built masjid by the end of 2014 in shaa Allah. 

There is great reward in building a masjid for Allah’s sake. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]

The building of a masjid is a way for a person to continue to earn blessings after death (Sadaqah Jariyah)

If you are a tax-payer in the UK, then the masjid will get even more money through the government gift aid program so don't forget to tick the box.   

We believe that the most difficult challenge for us was making the pledge but we know with the help of you, our friends, families and the ummah, in shaa Allah we will exceed our target by a wide margin.
