Just over 24hrs until the run. Feeling a little a nervous!
Just over a week to go. Training going OK. If I can do 10 miles, I can do 13. Yeah???
The Event
13th March 2016 sees me attempt my longest run to date, the Silverstone Half Marathon. Lots of hard work to do as I'm currently only a regular 10k runner and 13.1 miles seems a long way off!!!

Why Four Paws?
Back in May 2013, my wife saw a post on Facebook stating how a bear named Masha was being brutally treated in the Ukraine. It genuinely broke her heart!
She hastily arranged a local charity night with the hope of maybe raising a few hundred quid towards to the rescue attempt. We managed to raise just over £1700. We were astonished!!!
Masha was eventually rescued by the incredible team at Four Paws and now resides at the Nadiya bear sanctuary in the Ukraine and has gone from strength to strength.
