Masjid Maryam Update - Safar 1437 H. - Nov 2015
Al-Hamdulillah, the Masjid construction work is progressing well. We have posted two pictures in the gallery section. The project will be complete in a few months Inshallah.
Al-Hamdulillah, we have managed to raise approximately 18 thousand pounds. We have already agreed to construct a water well at a cost of approximately £2000 in the Nowshera area of Pakistan that will specifically provide water to at least 100 pupils who currently do not have access to clean water. In addition to this, the remaining funds will be used to construct a Masjid Inshallah. More details will be provided in due course.
May Allah reward all the donors and make these projects a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for Marhuma. Ameen.

Masjid Maryam Update - Dhul Qadah 1436 H. -Sep 2015
Assalamualaikum dear colleagues
Al-Hamdulillah, you will be pleased to learn that the work on the Masjid has started as you can see from the pictures in the gallery section.
Masjid Maryam Location: Mohallah Janazgah,Mian Esa, Tehsil, Nowshera, Pakistan
In 2010, the floods that affected this area, demolished the Masjid that was made from wood previously. There are more than 60 families in the local village who currently have to walk for more than 1 KM to access the nearest mosque. The Masjid Maryam project will provide a solid structure for the local community and provide Islamic education to the children.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, ShaykhMuhammad Ahmed of Ummah Welfare Trust UK visited the village a few weeks ago and informed me that this an extremely needy location and will be a very good Sadaqah Jariyah project. May Allah Almighty instill blessings in this project and assist with its completion and reward Maryam Apa.
Please note that the cost of the Masjid is £10,000 and the remainder funds will be used for a water well project or another Masjid project. More details will be shared in due course.
Jazakallah to everyone who has supported this campaign.
Wassalamualaikum

This page has been set up under the instruction of Hadrat Mufti Shabbir Ahmed Sahib (UK).
Our aim is to build a Masjid for the Isaale Thawab of Marhoomah Mariam Esmail of Canada who passed away recently on Friday 30 Ramadan 1436 H. after Isha Salah at the age of 40. The Janazah Salah took place after Jumuah Salah. Her passing away is indeed a form of Shahadah. May Almighty Allah elevate her status in Jannah and grant Sabr to her family and friends.
Marhooma is the daughter of Haji Ibrahim Bhai of Oshawa, Canada and was married to Mufti Husain Madni Sahib. In the 90s, her father sent her to the UK to become an Alimah at Jamiatul Imam Muhammad Zakariyya in Bradford. During these few years, her home during the holidays and otherwise was the house of her uncle Haji Ibrahim Randeri & then later the house of Mufti Shabbir Ahmed Sahib in Blackburn where she was a daughter and a sibling of the house. At all times, she exemplified good character and behaviour.
Upon her return to Canada, she carried out the work of Deen until her demise. She kept us updated and insisted we share the happiness of her sons graduation as an Alim which took place a few weeks ago. The last we heard from her was the day she fell ill requesting us to make Duas for her and her family. She has left behind three children and many students. Her colleagues and students recall her humbleness and happy face at all times.
We have therefore decided to benefit her soul by raising funds to build a Masjid that will be named after her. The Masjid will be built in a remote area of Pakistan through Ummah Welfare Trust, a U.K. based Muslim NGO with experience of building thousands of Masajid worldwide. This is a Sadaqah Jariyah project and an ideal way to benefit the Marhooma. Everyone is requested to support the project through this campaign page. If you wish to donate through other means, please forward your donations to Mufti Shabbir Sahib or Mufti Hussain Sahib.
We have reached our initial target of £10,000. Due to interest, we have increased the target and aim to build a larger Masjid. We could even choose a needier location in another country or build two Masjids. More details will be posted on this page.
