Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sober Start is a new campaign organised by London Friend, seeking to support and encourage LGBT people who wish to reduce or stop their alcohol intake. Issues of alcohol addiction and abuse are more prevalent amongst LGBT people. The money raised will help London Friend provide their Antidote service - the UK's only specialist LGBT drug and alcohol service.

I'm joining Sober Start to lend my support to the campaign and will be gong alcohol free for January. Those of you who know me will also know that I like a drink. However I want to give my fitness and gym work a bit of a boost and so a sober start to the year will be the ideal opportunity to do so.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
