Story
Watching any child suffering with a terminal illness is difficult. When the child is your own, the pain is indescribable. Noah's Ark Children's Hospital in Cardiff is where Matt's daughter Zara spends an unfortunate amount of time, usually in a lot of pain due to her severe disabilities.
Zara suffers from quadriplegic cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs caused by avoidable brain damage at birth. Fortunately the care and facilities at the hospital are first class. It's not just disabled kids that go there, if you have a child and you live in Cardiff or South Wales, it's very likely that your child will spend some time in there at some point.
But the facilities at Noah's Ark are in such demand, more space is needed to provide more world class NHS care for hospitalised children. That's why we're doing the Carten again. Because collectively we can raise a whole lot of money for not just a great cause, but an absolute necessity.
