Me and my colleague Bruce Renouf, are doing the CC Island Walk and fundraising for the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity.

The charity have been extremely supportive to one of our colleagues and their family who was diagnosed with a brain tumour and within a week of that diagnosis was undergoing major surgery in the UK. Thankfully he is back at work and his recovery is going very well.

The walk itself is around the entire coastline of Jersey and is 48 miles in total. Actually it's 48.1 miles but we won't quibble over the 0.1!!

We aren't looking to break any time records this year but hopefully we can make it to the finish. We will provide updates on the day via Twitter and Facebook. We'll give more details nearer the time.
