Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Update: On the 26th April, Nicole and myself plan to run the London marathon for Farleigh Hospice. All your support so far is greatly appreciated and we look forward to the day!
Update 18/12/2014:
Sadly, on the 11/11/2014, my mum lost her battle with cancer. My mum was a fantastic woman and is a huge loss to everyone that knew her. It's really hit me hard having lost my mum, but I will turn that energy into my fundraising efforts! I cannot thank Farleigh enough for all their efforts before, during and even now after mum's passing. One day I will hit my target!
October 2014:
Sadly my mum was diagnosed with cancer and has been battling this horrible disease for around a year now. Unfortunately it has now come to the point where she has been admitted to a Hospice for pain relief and care. Thankfully she was able to get a bed at Farleigh Hospice.
Seeing their amazing care and support for not just my mum but the care and support of family members that stay and visit is incredible. If you need someone to talk to, a room to go and sit in or even just a tea and a biscuit, it is all there to use as you wish to make a difficult time easier.
With little funding from the government it is down to those that have had the privilege in this difficult time to have benefited from the service they provide and those that have seen someone close be affected by this horrible disease to raise money for Farleigh.
Please dig deep and donate as every penny goes towards a great cause.
I have set up one page and an overall target I would like to reach in a lifetime of fundraising! I want to help this wonderful charity give the love and support they've given to the one that i love, to others in the same situation.
To donate you can simply text PUGH67 followed by the amount to 70070 e.g PUGH67 £1 to donate £1.
October 2014: To get the ball rolling I am doing Stoptober. No alcohol for the month of October.
November 2014: I grew a horrible moustache for the month of November!
December 2014: I will attempt to walk 500,000 steps in the 31 days of December.
