Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Mrs Miller suggested it; Mr Smith was the first to commit to it. Miss Stanford and Mrs Miller started their regular training early on a miserable, cold and wet February day. They've since become fitter, stronger and braver, tackling long distances and big hills. Mr Ten Broeke and Mr Cinderey are already regular cyclists. Mr Smith... will rock up on the night, good to go (probably secretly training, but playing it right down).

Money raised will go to Motivation, a very local charity that's linked to our school's wheelchair design project. They've just launched an exciting appeal called When I Grow Up. The appeal will help disabled children in Uganda to grow up, stay healthy and dream big. Money raised by the appeal will go towards a project aimed at improving health and reducing poverty of disabled children and their families.

As part of the UK Aid Match Scheme, the UK government have pledged to match all donations made to the appeal pound for pound between May and August. This means your donation can now go twice as far!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving;  they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate, saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We'll be really grateful for any sponsorship you can offer us. We'd love to say that together, we can provide children with wheelchairs that will transform their lives.

Thank you.

PS Think of us as you snuggle into bed on the night of June 25th. We're hoping to get the ride done in 6 hours.
