Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.Darkness into Light is an international event held to raise awareness of these issues to help tackle the stigma attached to them as well to as raise vital funds for Irish Community Care and Pieta House.Suicide, self harm and mental health issues can all affect absolutely anybody.This the first year that this International Walk has come to Wigan - let's help raise awareness and improve understanding of suicide, self harm and mental health issues for local people in Wigan!This event is a great way of symbolising hope as suicide is not inevitable and we can encourage local people to talk about what might be troubling them and to connect to local services and community opportunities!Donations of any size will ALL help!
